I plan to move in the next year, my house is 30 yrs old. Needs new carpet, new paint, kitchen is outdated ect. Would I benefit more by making these updates or sell as is and hope they like what I choose? Im unable to do minor repairs, so I would have to take out a loan and hire for repairs.

Can I upload a picture to the questions? That would make it easy. Anyway, this is the stupidest lightbulb I've ever seen. It is a flourescent top part with PLT13W WW written on top. That's the top flourescent part, I've discovered. The part that screws in is plastic, and perfectly flat on top, with two silver metal round prongs about 1/8 inch in circumfrance each. The flat circular bottom is about 1 inch in circumfrance. I bought this cheap bathroom fixture at home depot, now I can't find any replacement bulbs. I think I got jacked. Anyone know where I might find this light? I've searched the internet, went back to home depot, lowe's, nobody has it.

Yesterday this ran fine. Then today out of no where it started pouring gas out the hole where the air filter is. It was in the garage and nothing around it when this happened. This is a push mower. The air filter is on the side then next to it where the hole leads to is the spot that you push to pump the gas to get it started. Is this fixable? help, i just bought this used and hope it wasn't a total waste. :(

I would think all the steam would make s bathroom a good [place for mold...especially if you have carpet. Is it? Is this a common problem? Why haven't we tried to come up with ideas to fix it if it's been around so long?

Just got into a condo which was built in the 70's. I doesn't matter what sink I am at, the one closest to the water heater or the one farthest away - it takes at least a minute or two for the hot water to finally arrive. And the weather is warm now, what happens in the winter time? Is there anything I can do to make this situation better???
