Yesterday this ran fine. Then today out of no where it started pouring gas out the hole where the air filter is. It was in the garage and nothing around it when this happened. This is a push mower. The air filter is on the side then next to it where the hole leads to is the spot that you push to pump the gas to get it started. Is this fixable? help, i just bought this used and hope it wasn't a total waste. :(

This sounds like a carbureture problem. There is dirt in the carb causing the float to stay open and flood the carb with gas. This is a dangerous situation and the mower should not be started when this is happening. IF you are handy with tools and know something about carbs you can fix this yourself. Otherwise take it to a professional.

check primer tubing hose, may be old and has a hole in it. thus squirting gas toward air filter housing. easily repairable bt either replacing entire primer hose or splicing with a peice of tubing and a couple of hose clamps. good luck !

sounds like the carb is stuck open or more likely your air filter is clogged with dirt.
