I have the main phone (5 lines ) in the office and I spill some water in it not a lot bus just a little. And is not working. Just the intercom, you think I damage it. What can I do to fix it this phone is really $ and I dont want to pay for it. Please help me.

It probably it just needs to dry out. If it was plan water you don't have to do anything I've done the same thing with sticky coke took it apart and washed it off it was fine. As mentioned just say it's broken you don't have to elaborate on how it got that way. These things happen in every office.

I agree-just act stupid like you don't know why it broke. I don't think they can legally make you pay for it anyway. You would be shocked at how expensive commercial office equipment is. It is very possible that the company has a contract and they might not even have to pay for a new one. There are so many ways a company can replace it--they often upgrade that kind of thing before it breaks anyway. Or they can write it off as a business expense. Don't worry about it.

Just tell somebody it stopped working and you have no idea why. Office equipment gets repaired and replaced all the time, most likely nobody will blame you.
