There was a sower that sowed seeds. Some landed on the way side and the fowls come to destroy it. Then some landed on the stones it sprouted up quick, but it had no good roots and as soon as the suns heat rose they weithred. Then some landed in a bush of thorns and as soon as they grew the thorns choked them. Then some seed landed on the good soil and increased thirty sixty and some seventy fold.

into my house. Most of the other townhouses around me have no hedges. Why would it just be my house that would get water since the terrain and slope of land is basically the same for all of us. Is it really a consideration?

I have a black walnut tree in my back yard. It's only about 25 years old. Over the past few years it's been thinning out. Recently larger branches have been falling out of the tree making it thin out much more and look quite sickly. It's been producing the large quantities of walnuts as usual. The past few summers here have been very dry and I'm wondering if this is playing a big role or not.

Any hope for it, or should it just be taken down? I would prefer not to lose it.

There is a pine tree in my yard (3 stories) that started dropping tons of pine cones every day. I've been living there for 6 years and didn't start to happen until this year. Is this a sign it may be dying?

Anyone know anything about looking after a bonsai tree? We keep it inside, as instructed, but it's still wilting! We can't work out if we're watering it too much or too little!

Help!

We just bought two small horsetail plants for our front yard. But now we are told they are hard to control and can grow out of control affecting other plants around it. Is this true?

I would really appreciate any suggestions like which book is good, which website, or should I go somewhere to learn or hire somebody to teach me?

I have a house with a yard with lot of pine trees and some other trees like a magnolia (lots of dead leaves under it) and a weeping willow (lots of dead branches and stuff under that one too).
There are also magnolias and other bushes, and something that I think are rhododendrons and a lot of other stuff but I have no idea what to call them.
There is also grass here and there (I don’t know what kind of grass) and between the pine trees and the house.
I never had to maintain a yard before (used to live in an apartment) but now I need to take care of my yard, at least clean it up, and I have no idea where to start, and what tools to use.
Once I learn how to clean it up, I will move forward about learning how to plant stuff maybe.
Thank you for any imput.
