you grow it in your basement. you need lights and soil it needs to be dark and damp. the street value is $1200 an ounce. and you need pigs. what is it that there growing? a riddle my accounting teacher gave us. hellllp!

Truffles and if you could grow them in a basement you wouldn't need pigs to find them. Truffles are one of many fungi that form a mycorrhizal or symbiotic relationship with a plant. In the case of truffles, a tree, so unless you have an oak tree in your basement your pig is out of luck. In Europe most truffle hunting these days is done with dogs. Taking a pig for a walk in the woods is a good way to draw the attention of other truffle hunters. RScott

Pigs snort out truffles. The street drug you're talking about is "shrooms", but they're not the same thing. I'm glad my accounting teacher doesn't tell riddles like that.

Special mushrooms that grow underground, pigs are known for finding truffles because of their keen sense of smell... and they are both verrry yummy and verrry expensive. Can be cultivated in dark, moist places like basements.
