No my husband came back from work. He leaves for months at a time, law enforcement duty.
And Iwould do it, I kinda did and I only took out like 10 gigantic weeds, which looked exactly the same :(
ANd then i went inside and was nasty and sweaty and my son started crying his lungs out because he was hungry. I couldnt attent to him right away cause i dont want any bacterias around him!

Boil the kettle and poor hot water on them - they will die right before your eyes. I do that all the time and its so easy to do and no poisons needed.

My husband usually uses large garden shears to help him remove large overgrown weeds. He usually take some time though like one whole day just working removing them. After using the shears he then moistened the earth and pull them out by the roots with a pair of gardening gloves

RoundUp, sweetie. Kill the weeds since you have a 3 month old and no one else, or any machine to do yard work. why can't you mow, cut, pull them? Get you back in shape, exercise is a good thing.

Too bad RoundUp doesn't work on husbands that "came back".

With children in the house, I would try to avoid herbicide chemicals like Round-up. Boiling water will kill plants quickly, but boiling water will kill everything. You can spray the plants with bleach or rubbing alcohal. That evaporates quickly after you spray it but does a good job killing the plants. You also don't have to worry about bleach or rubbing alcohal possibly hurting your son if you need to pick him up quickly.

We use a gas powered string trimmer to clear our weeds for fire management. But, some of the neighbors who use day laborers have them use machetes.
