you should check out www.pathtofreedom.com and watch some of their videos.
Its a family who live on a fifth of an acre in L.A. and they grow all their own food, about 6000 pounds of vegetables a year!! they live on wind and solar power, it's so admirable.
these kinds of people are my heroes!
