Hello,

I was wondering are there any ways to get rid of the animal moles in my yard? They just dig and dig and they make my yard all pillow like.

.. and they make me grass all dead and I Don't know what to do. D:

It's interesting how the neighbor doesn't have anyway, but I do. He wons a lawn company, so one cold only assume his yard would be better then others. But h said, don't try, there are no ways to get rid of them, I didn't question why he has none.

I just think he doesn't what them to go in his "magical" lawn.. -.-'

Any help would be wonderful, thank you!

When I was a kid I weeded the flower beds once a week for maybe an hour and they always looked great. In my own yard it seems like weeding is all I do and it still looks like a jungle. I'm about ready to give up and pave it over. Can you give me any suggestions?

I am in Michigan. They are still green- and about 2 feet high. They have not bloomed since late spring.
Can I dig up the roots/blubs now? How do I store/handle for winter? Never done anything like this before.

I need help in deciding how to plant the potted herbs that I will transplant to soil.
I have mint, rosemary, lavender, sage, oregano. I will create a circle with these herbs, which one should I plant in the outer edge?
I know mint expands everywhere wherever you plant it, so it is better to place it out or in the middle of my herbal circle?
Your shared ideas are very much appreciated :)

I just recently moved into a house that has a ton of fruit trees. There is a pear tree that is bearing fruit. The pears are getting big...but I don't know exactly when they should be picked. Should they be hard when you pick them, then you let them ripe inside? Should they be a certain color? Or...is there some other thing I should be looking for?

have a new home going in on 35 acres, with about a 200 yard driveway, which winds it's way to the house. the soil is a uhlig or cheney silt loam. (very powdery when dry and disturbed, but settles and firms quite a bit with moisture).

I'm looking for something to plant on about 1/5 acres of bermed up area along the driveway... not a lawn necessarily, but something drought and cold resistant.

We get about 20'ish inches of rain a year, and winter lows below zero, tho not for extended times.

The summers can be hot (100) typically in the 80's to mid 90's.

Don't want to water this stuff every other day, and would rather have something growing un-checked than a mowed carpet.

Any recommendations for something hardy, unique and functional would be great!

P.S.
Bunch grasses are common to the area.

We moved into a home w/ an established lawn May 1st. It is now the end of Aug. and the drought here has rendered the lawn to look like straw. It is way too expensive for us to water here, plus they have restrictions on it anyways. Will the lawn come back once the rains come?

Hi, I have a large garden, approximately one third of an acre and it has a pre-cast concrete sectional garage approximately 6 metres wide x 8 metres long. With it being sectinal it can easily be dismantled and re-built.

The garage is sited 30 metres from the back of my house and on the boundary line at the right hand side and I wish to move it to the boundary line on the left hand side.

Planning permission was originally gained when the garage was erected some 20 years ago.

The reason I want to move it is it is on the wrong side of my property as my drive way is on the left. The surroundin trees are undermining the garage base and think it best to move it away from the trees. Both neighbours do not have any objections.

Do I need planning permission to move the garage.

Thanks
