I bought a home a few months ago and I've recently discovered a bunch of old concrete footers for an old fence and/or clothes line pole (s). There are about 8 of them and I did notice one had a hole the shape of a 4X4 - that is why I think it is from a fence. The previous owner just piled them up and let ivy grow over them to hide it. How can I get rid of this stuff without digging a big hole in the backyard or illegally dumping it in a shopping center dumpster or in the woods? Who can I call about removing it?

It has been over a month since I got my steel put in. Let me clarify, they put it in and then they had to cut the steel out for my spa that they messed up. Now it has been sitting with the spa cut out for over a month. Original dig April 4, 2007 and as of today I am on my 3rd foreman and no one can get anything done. I also got a call from the steel sub, that Windmill had not paid them, and he was sending me a Lean Notice. So not only has Windmill not finished my pool, they are not paying out my money that I gave them....
I have so far given them 1 check for $9600, and all we have to show for it is a hole with partial steel, and a lean notice.....

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1. Don't have money to buy soil.
2. Our dirt truly sucks.
I have heard from a friend that you can put worms in your dirt and their waste is full of nutrients, like they replenish it. Truth or not? Will they harm the plants?
and if it's not true, what do i do?!?

I have these ducks that swim, poop, and leave feathers in my pool like every day. Is there something I can do to keep them away like putting a statue up or something. I can't afford a screen room yet.

Normally, we cut it, when the lawn is mowed, but if there is a produce that will kill the grass completely, someone please let me know the name of this product and where it can be purchased at. Thank you.

This is my first year at trying some gardening. I planted in one area some bell peppers (plants), collard greens (plants), roma tomatoes (seeds), cucumber (seeds), cantaloupe (seeds), okra (seeds)....and in my flower bed, marigold seeds and morning glory seeds.

Everything is doing well, right now....but i live in Vermont and just found out tonight will get a frost. Please let me know how to protect my plants tonight, or will I need to. My seeds are beginning to germinate but there is not much to them over an inch.

Also I tried transplanting a tulip. The leaves look terrible on my transplant, just terrible. Should I cut them off and let the bulb remain planted. I think I killed it. There is still some green, but some brown is taking over. Should tulips not be transplanted?

This is a piece of a plant that was given to my Mom about 17 years ago by my Grandmother. We can't figure out what it is. You may be able to see that the branches are bamboo-like, in sections. It requires very little sunlight and water, and grows quite slowly.
Thanks for your help!
