This is the neighbor's outside cat, is there any way to prevent cats from doing this. There are a million holes in the clear plastic tarp.

Oooh, bad kitty!

My cat hates basil, so you might try planting basil around the greenhouse. Also, I've heard that dried, ground-up citrus peels deter cats, and also ground up spicy peppers. You'll need to apply these regularly to keep the cat away.

Talk to your neighbor, too. Tarp isn't cheap, and you might ask the neighbor to pay for the plastic. It might be incentive for the neighbor to keep the cat indoors. Take pictures, too, in case you need to put more pressure on.

Unfortunately there is only one remedy for this but it requires your monitoring for a relatively short period of time. Before trying this out it would be advisable to contact your neighbor to let them know the problem your experiencing. Cats can learn not to do certain things we humans don't approve of. When seeing your neighbors cat climbing have a garden hose ready with a nozzle on the end and direct a LIGHT spray onto the cat. This may take several instances in order for kitty to "get it", but eventually it will. Cats abhor being sprayed with water and as long as your consistent it will learn not to climb your greenhouse. Is there anything you could attach to the side of your greenhouse that would not allow kitty to climb? Just thinking out loud here........Have you set down with kitty and explained the problem? Not making light of your situation, but I love cats and sometimes they feel they're being neglected and act out.

Damn Cats!!!!! Try pissing around the bottom of it. That marks your territory. I would at least try that before I got out the BB gun.
