I am building a canopy above my front door (weather protection). It is a pitched roof with one side attached to the house and one side supported by two stilts. The total height is 2.5mtrs, do I need building regs approval?

About two or three weeks ago, someone sent an orchid to the manager in the office I work at and he decided to put it up front with me (I'm the receptionist). It's still alive and healthy so I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the care an orchid requires and how long it's expected to live.

My cousin has a tree in her back yard in Tampa. Skin of the fruit is very bumpy. It reminds you of a giant lemon.

I never used a snow blower but when I blow the snow off my side walk it ends up going onto my neighbors property...i guess i should talk to them and ask them but they are not very nice too us as their dog jumped the fence and bit my dog while my dog was on the leash..they have a pit pull and two other dogs so I turned them into animal control and they were fined several hundred dollars because the dogs did not have shots or a license..well, anyway there dogs poop in my yeard and my dog poops in their yard and now with the new snow blower i thought why not just blow the snow in their property as i did this twice last year..well is there a law that i am breaking/?

I have a lot of wood chip, mulch and vacant land. Can i just store the wood chip and much in an open air invironment. If so! what is the expected time before the wood chip will decompose? Or is there one particular way of storing wood chip and mulch wich would give it a longer period of time before decomposing?
