There are flowers that attract bees more than others, but a bee will pollinate flowers, veggie blooms, fruit tree blooms etc. without avoiding any one type all together. I know, for instance, that bees are highly attracted to berry bushes, but tend to kind of give minimal attention to marigolds...

I don't see how... since, without the bees, you can't have the flowers. I know that in growing pumpkins, sometimes there aren't enough bees to do the pollinating, so you can pollinate your pumpkin flowers yourself with a Q-tip.
