I live in the country and even in cold weather, there are alot of flys around that sneek into the house. Then they become very agressive little things. I have to keep everything covered while cooking and eating. Help!!!!!!

I have a neighbour who planted 17 pine trees one metre away from my boundary wall. He lives overseas and I can't contact him but nothing grows under them and the roots are starting to break up the wall. How do I kill them?

My mom used to be able to get an avocado seed to root, but I've had terrible luck. I have a seed now, it's suspended in water, but I want to know if there is anything else I can do to ensure it roots. Plant food in the water? Direct or indirect sun? How long should it take before I see anything?
Thanks for your help in advance

They were already here several years when I moved here. They are long stem roses, yellow with shades of pink on the outer edges. They bloom three separate times throughout the summer. My problem is, two of the plants did not bloom at all and the leaves turned yellow with black spots on them.Bugs, disease , or what?

I know of several people who have been conned by this fraudster - he comes and designs a garden for you, takes money to buy materials and then fails to complete the work. I gave him money in April for plants and I'm still waiting for them. He claims to have links with the BBC and RHS. He doesn't seem to have a base and operates via a website on the net. I'd be happy to hear from anyone who has had a similar experience.
