I live in the country and even in cold weather, there are alot of flys around that sneek into the house. Then they become very agressive little things. I have to keep everything covered while cooking and eating. Help!!!!!!

I have seen people fill up a one quart ziploc baggie with water and nail it above their doors. Evidentally, to a fly, the waterbag resembles a hornet's nest, which is one of the fly's most avid predators. They try to avoid this area at all costs. I live and the country, too, near cow pastures ect... and people swear by this method. Sounds goofy, but it works!! Good luck!

Cut off the top of a plastic soda bottle, about 3" down from the neck. You want some of the straight side to remain. In the bottom portion mix at least 1/4 cup of cheap Strawberry jelly and some water to fill half way. Invert the cut off top, neck down, into the bottom. Staple the two together - or use duct tape. Bugs go in, but because of their teeny brains, they can't figure out how to escape.

When full of bugs you can empty it and add more "lure, strawberry and water, or just toss the whole thing in the trash. Have fun.

Put some sugar with vinegar on a tray by the window. sugar attracts the fly, vinegar inebriates them.
