I want an oleander hedge. I bought some "Hardy Red Oleander" from LOWE's which is supposed to be fast growing. It says to plant 6'-10' feet apart. I want to be certain to have a solid wall so I'm planting them 6' apart. Do I measure that distance between the bases of the plants or somewhere else?

We currently are living in Arizona. I am in the middle of removing all of the rock that is in the front and back yard. I saw this grass in a Better homes& Gardens magazine, and would love to have it for ground cover in my yard instead of the typical grass. I am looking to find where I can purchase it at.

I'm trying to create a garden of rest, attracting butterflies, hummingbirds and even moths if that would be possible. I want it to be an idyllic place, popullated by delicate flutters. Incidentally, my husband is a keen entomologist, and would any of you know where he could get a quart of ethyl acetate? Ta, and GOD BLESSxx

I have no knowledge of sprinkling systems and have never done it before. Is this something that can be done by one person? What are the best resources that I can look into? I can't afford a professional to come and do it. I appreciate any help at all! thanks!

I have a shaded area on the north side of my house and I'm not sure what kind of plants to get. I don't really trust my "gardner" to put plants I like there, so I want to pick them out myself. I'm kind of clueless in this area.
