The weight varies between 1000 to 1600 lbs./cubic yard for compost.

The variance in weight is largely dependent on moisture content and the maturity of the product. When I was in the composting business, we usually estimated "finished compost" to weigh between 1200 to 1400 pounds per cubic yard (44.4 to 52.9 lbs./cubic foot).

Hope this answered your question.

Like soil, I believe it would be measured in cubic ft, not by weight. But if I had to guess, as long as it is not moist, about 40 lbs in a cubic ft.

Funnily enough it weighs however much the weight of it is. So for example: if you have 1 kilo of compost, it weighs 1 kilo. I only know this because I love gardening!

Depends on how much you have. If you have a kilogram, than it would weigh a kilogram
