growing out of the ground are what looks like orange chicken feet they stink really bad that the flys sit on them. when dug up they have these white balls under them and what looks like mold or something. do you know what it is and is it bad for the health? and how do you get rid of them? I tryed to just remove the dirt but they are still growing...help!

What you have is a stinkhorn which is a mushroom. Stinkhorns are found on rotting,decaying material. Their rank smell attracts flies who then carry the spores to other rotting materials.Have no fear stinkhorns are not dangerous in fact they are a delicacy in China

Maybe it's a wild onion or herb? A wild garlic maybe.
