I live in Southern California. VERY Sunny yard. I want to know if I should put the entire tomato in the ground or should I try to remove the sprouts.

Wow! Remember that the fruit of the tomato was intended to be the food source of the sprouting seeds; the down side is that with so many sprouting, you will have to decide which ones to thin. If you plant this in the ground it will continue to grow, depending on your locale of course. Indoors it will not do as well because tomatoes are sun HOGS.

You don't grow that tomato, the growing season is over. Cut out the sprouts or eat them and enjoy the tomato they are in.

Even with grow lights you are asking for problems. The very least of which is a rotten tomato plant.

Oh dear! What luck! The growing season is over, unless you want to try growing them inside. That means that you will need a grow light. If you do want to try.... each one of those seeds will give you a plant. You will have to plant them one at a time. Good luck.

you remove the seeds and put them in a dry place till spring, then you start the seed in about march in a plant pot, with soil this will sprout ,when the seed gets to grow you plant it outside and watch it grow , make sure the frost is gone in the spring.
