The tree is about ten years old was doing well until last year. Then is began to slump and could not hold itself upright very well. I supported it and it has straightened out well but still has brown tips and top and branches are dying. It also has basically stopped growing and when i bought the seedling, I was told it was a large variety with mature height of 20 to 40 feet. I would like it to be larger but mostly I would rather it be healthy. What can I do to cure/feed it to help it with the brown death (thats what I call it b/c every branch gets brown on the tip, then the entire branch, then that branch dies). Should I prune the brown? Also, is there anything I can do to spur growth? Please help, this tree has priceless sentimental value as it was a gift from a recently removed family member. Thank you!

I'm hoping to get a license to grow hemp in Canada (I'm a Canadian citizen eh). Does anyone know of any hemp farms already in progress here? It would be good to know about them so as to see where the plant is able to grow and such. Thanks.

We have several rose bushes...we live at 5300ft above sea level and came here from the desert, so I've never had roses before. I cut the dead bulbs off as they go bad, but last fall never 'pruned' any of the bushes as I've heard you should. This year we had about 1/3 the return of roses and actually one whole bush never bloomed...and it's our largest one? I went and bought a really rich mulch and turned the soil beneath each bush about 3 weeks ago before adding the fresh soil hoping that the nutrients might help...it did somewhat, but all the people up here have roses and they have sooooo many more than us on each bush....tons...and they are soooooo big too. How do I get my rose bushes to produce like that for next year...and when and how is the best way to prune??? Thanks all!
