We decided to try to grow a vegetable garden this year and we have done very well in the tomato department. I don't want to only enjoy a week's worth of homegrown tomatoes and then have to start buying them from the store again, and I don't want to can them either. So can I freeze them whole?

My boyfriend and I always intend to plant them, but never get around to it. This year, we made a pact that we'd do it for SURE. We just need to know when to do it. I know it's the fall, but I need specifics.

It is a pom pom tree and 2 of the 4 poms turned brown. I water it often and lately we have gotten quite a bit of rain, so I don't think it is that. We don't have any kind of bugs that are eating it I checked and also used a pesticide. Does anyone know what else it could be?

We have removed a large stump and old grass (mainly weeds) a small front yard (about 400 sq. ft.). Rototilled the area as well. Now we are trying to decide on sod versus seed versus hydroseed. We live in southern Ontario.

i'm interested in getting a curly willow or a similar ornamental willow for my back yard. i've learned that regular willow trees will grow and their roots will seek out a water source. i don't want it to interfere with the water pipes that are underground.

I need something that I can apply to curbs and bricks, I am having trouble with weeds constantly, I pull them but befor I know it they are back. The places I am concerned with do not have any grass or plants so I can use something that will kill all vegetation, I was hoping to find a home-made remedy rather than something like "Roundup"

Something sprayable that is not so poisonous to keep ants out of and away from my cats' food bowls. Something to spray around the area where they eat outside. I worry about them stepping on concrete that has been sprayed with poisonous chemicals.
