MASTER GARDENER TO THE RESCUE

Oh no! Not you again. They woke me up out of a perfectly good coma for Tricky Ricky. I'm going back to bed.... later.

Okay, lets see what you got to frustrate me with this time? Good, a no brain-er. You need some good advise from a local expert. If I remember our last meeting, your in the Houston area, correct? (i didn't give away the location to your witness protection location, did I?) Okay Tricky Ricky, go to the web and type in Houston Master Gardeners and I am sure you will find their address? If not try Texas Master Gardeners. I know the state's main sight can link you up the the MASTER GARDENER sight near your home. Your local MASTER GARDENER will be able to answer all your questions for you. It will be like having a garden expert living next door.

Now can I go back to bed? Hey, you still owe me one from last time, less we forget?

I would suggest that you check with your local Texas Cooperative Extension Office. http://texasextension.tamu.edu/

There is a link there where you can contact your local extension agent (on the left hand side of the page). It will also give you the address so you can go to the office if you need to.

Here's an even better site:

It is a place where you can get answers, from professionals in Texas!!

I think that is your best bet.

garden.com has forum boards for all kinds of specific gardening issues. Not a bad site. Just make sure you take all web-generated advice with a grain of salt, so to speak

You need GARDEN DOK. MG. He is an awesome Master Gardener in SoCal and he would know who in your zone to contact who is also a master gardener. Go to the top ten answerers in Home & Garden, you will see him, pull up his profile and contact him via e-mail. He'll be the one to trust with the information you need. Brilliant man!
