Yes you can quite easily. Although the proper name for it is a terrarium. I like to grow my tropical carnivorous plants in such a setup. I perfer to use what is commonly referred to as an "easycare" terrarium, where the plants remain in their pots for easy removal for cleaning, or in case of some kind of fungus or aphid infection occurs. What you need is an aquarium, and a flourescent light fixture for the top. I have a 150 gallon setup with two twin fixtures with 40 watt bulbs in them. Below you will find a link that covers the setup.

I think you're thinking of a terrarium. Do a search. You should be able to find some ideas on-line, or you can go to the library and find some books there.
