Is this a crazy idea for a room divider? http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l153/aycm8620/FSwall.jpg I saw something on HGTV but instead of the planters it was a big bench. In my idea the only things filled with concrete are the 3 supports, not the divider

Critters have dug out underneath my wrap around front porch, and it is all starting to buckle and crack. But one slab in particular has dropped considerably on one end and has made walking on my porch hazardous.

Any ideas on fixing it without calling in the big dogs?

I have this oil painting I need to mail but somehow I can't find a box to put it in.. all the boxes I find are huge and that doesn't work for me
Would it be a good idea to warp it in paper and mail it like that?
What could be another option?

He put one tile down that was in a low spot. I pointed it out to him however, when I came back it was already down and grouted. When he put the toilet back somehow it leaked and the floor was all water.I walked on the tile to turn off the toilet and need i say, swoosh, swoosh. I picked up the tile that was in the low spot. I know I have to regrout. my problem is how do I fix the low spot for that one tile to be put back.

I have a few west facing windows and although I have good shade trees on the west side of the house, a few of them are unshaded and let in a great deal of heat. Anyone know a good pull down shade I can install that will actually reflect the heat?

Or is it the same.I want to put down linoleum for the kitchen floor.Does it matter if I use vinyl ? I hear it might bubble up, or linoleum is better for moistured areas.Of course I would use a whole roll, instead of putting one sticky tile at a time.

I have 2 Hunter cieling fans in my house that I installed and they are the same models. I'm not sure of the model number. Either way one is on one end of the house and the other is on the opposite end. When I control one fan with the remote, the other fan does the opposite function.(i.e. turn light on in room 1, light in room 2 goes off etc.)
Its not a big pronlem but when people are in both rooms its really annoying. How can I fix this without having to buy a new fan? Thanks.
