A friend of mine gave his wife a caulking gun. It a a thingy to cut the tip off and also to pok a hole in the tube. As you pumprd it, the pressure built up till the stuff started coming out the end. He elaborated on the features and merrits of a good caulking gun for quite some time, wrapped it up and gave it to her. And when she asked whf well he just told her the same as he told us and they had a great time for her birthday. For a guy? Maybe a box of nails or a few washers and nuts.

Boyfriend ? Make a space in your house/home where he can work, But tell him you need the space so you can work on things and that you want his help putting it together. Built a small table, hange some pegboard and Light (lots of light). He'll want to show off and you get to build something for him.

You are not looking for a gift but a project to make and give him. Most guys are not into a lot of craft things unless they make them theirselves. It may be better to give him a gift certificate at a home supply store. That way he can pick out what he wants or needs for himself.

A dremel is nice, leatherman multi-tool, gift certificate to Home Depot or Lowes.
