I have 2 Hunter cieling fans in my house that I installed and they are the same models. I'm not sure of the model number. Either way one is on one end of the house and the other is on the opposite end. When I control one fan with the remote, the other fan does the opposite function.(i.e. turn light on in room 1, light in room 2 goes off etc.)
Its not a big pronlem but when people are in both rooms its really annoying. How can I fix this without having to buy a new fan? Thanks.

Is there a switch on the fan that will let you set the code for the fan? If there is, then you can change frequency's and get a second remote, if you don't have 2 remotes already. good luck.

Some fans let you switch the frequency. Check in the battery compartment of the remote, if there's a way (little switches?) to change something in there, Drop the cover of fan base, and match a new sequence on the receiver in there.

Call Hunter. You will have to reprogram 1 remote and 1 fan. If it can be done, they will walk you through the process.

Buy a new fan or go back to the ice age and use it manually. They are both on the same freqency-next time ask before you buy. Bummer
