We recently bought black appliances for our kitchen, but the refrigerator was still fairly new, so we didn't want to replace it yet. Unfortunately, it is also a beigecolor that doesn't match the other stuff. I've heard that you can buy stainless steel panelling that can change to appearance of your fridge. I've also thought of painting it. Has anyone done either? Which is better?

The fridge is so large, its an eyesore. Would look nice if it blended in, just like the rest of the cabinetry.

I want a nice glossy finish, but I don't want to spend TOO much money, unless it's worth it. I'd also like to do a diamond, black on grey pattern. Any ideas?

I just bought a 124 year old house in manitoba and it is in desperate need of windows. I don't want to order them in and would rather get them at clearence prices. Problem is the clearence windows are not the rights sizes. Is it easier to build them in or out? and why? I will be doing the work myself with help from family and friends so there won't be any window professional there. Any other advice, tips?
