There is usually no lock that are stef-proof but my unlocking tools are in my box... Which is locked... Any tips?? I've got bobbypins, very small screwdriver and for the first time in 31 years I can't open the @#$%?& thing.... It' a grey box, 15 1/4 " wide by 10 1/2 " .... A regular box but I just can't seem to be able to find the darn "notches"...

I know it's a wierd question, but any tips?

Usually a lock on a tool box doesn't have too many tumblers in it. If you can put something in the key hole on the side away from the tumblers and turn it like you are trying to unlock it and at the same time use a large paper clip and push the tumblers in it might open. With tension on the cylinder the tumblers often just go in to where they are split and stop....Worth a try...Good Luck...

Can you possibly pull the hinge pins from the hinges on the back side? Also if there is a top lid that opens sometimes closing that will lock the drawers. If it is a craftman go to Sears and buy a duplicate key. Another optin is to drill the rivets out that hold on the hasp and after you open it just get a pop rivoter (sp?) and replace the rivits. As a last resort just drop the toolbox on it's side and see if it doesn't pop open. Good luck

Did you try any of the tools that he 'forgot' to put back in your tool box? lol
I'm afraid my only suggestion would be a good ole sledgehammer and start fresh with a new toolbox. You deserve it, after all the aggravation -- good luck!
