Ok here it goes, we've lived in an appartment for a while and just got a house, yea! The inside was freshly painted, but we have some other options. our colors are: pastel/light green, pastel/light yellow and iceicle white. The master bedroom and living room has dark oak hardwood floors, kitchen grey and white floors, downstairs dark grey carpet. The master bedroom is the pastel/light green, and we were thinking to add white trim around the doors, windows, and the wood trim that goes around the room. The living room has white walls, along with the kitchen. Don't know what to do with these rooms, the living room and kitchen/dinning room have no wall seperator except the bar area. Down stairs we are going to do the same as the master bedroom, trimming with white.
Now, What the hell do we do for the kitchen/dinning room, living room and bathroom? Yellow in the bathroom, with white trim. I am affraid that if we do the kitchen and living room different it might clash.

I bought a vellum package with patterns and quotes printed on the pages. However, I have no idea how to get them on paper. (Yes, I know, I bought a product without knowing how to use it, but I figured I could always fall back on the ever-faithful Yahoo Answerers. ;-)

So I'd appreciate any help you can offer. :D

the dimmer i just bought says (single pole/unipolar) when i took the old switch out there is 2 black wires 2 white wires and a red one. in the old switch which is still hooked up one black wire is capped off with a white wire and the other bla and whi wire are connected to the switch with the remaining red wire on the opposing side. the bare wire is simple enough which should go the green wire on the new dim switch. the new dim switch has only 2 black wires and a green one. do i have the right switch and if so how do i hook it up

I am 17 years old, graduating from high school in May 2007. I live with my mom and stepdad, and I hate him so much that I can no longer handle living with him. So I am planning to move out when I turn 18, and I am wanting to know the general fixed expenses like apartment rent, electricity, water, gas, etc.

And I also will be going to a community college, so the tuition won't cost much.

Is anybody here in college and lives by youself or with a roommate?
I would like to know how much it costs and how it is to live on your own...

Please give me some advice.

So being impatient I pretty much go around the room and by the time I am done with those walls just start all over again with the second coat giving it little drying time. Question is, if I waited the right amount of time would I have to put less coats on? Does painting the addtional coats while it is still wet pretty much make more work for me?

People hate paying high prices to sell their homes, so what would you like to see, would you like to be a little more hands on with the process and save money?
make your own fliers, MLS only, handle your own contracts, buy your own yard sign, show your own home? what services do you need and what do you not?
what is a fair price do you think to sell a home (percent, or same fee for all?)
