does anyone know how i can make melt & pour soap coz buying them off the shelf is quite costly.

I'm sure theres kits out there but you have to try them out a little at a time. I have heard of people making soap and getting a skin reaction to it due to cheap ingredients in it.

Also, these kits may not work as well as the "off the shelf products".

saran wrap (actually I think the Target and Wal*Mart brands are better) works great. I wrap right after I unmold and I wrap really tight. Then slap on a label to hold the edges intact. Done right, this looks very professional because MP soap attracts moisture you don't want to wait too long before wrapping or you will have sweaty soap.

Craft store, like Michael's, has soap-making kits.
It's very simple...You cut glycerin soap into chunks and melt in microwave, or stove top. Add color and aromas

Pour into molds, let set till firm.
