I've been trying to clean up my room, but I just don't seem to have enough room for everything. I have already donated tons of my clothes to make more space, but it didn't seem to make a dent. Any tips for organization?

I am wanting to start some kind of tradition for Christmas with my kids. I am the first to admit though that I am not crafty. Does anyone have any ideas on what I can make with my kids that is age appropriate for them. One is 3 and one is 5. Thank you in advance.

I live in a neighborhood of modest one story ranch houses from the early 80s. Some have wood siding, some aluminum. Mine is wood. I live on a wooded lot. Right now it's dark brown, which I think is too dark for pictures. What's a good color to pick as far as resale is concerned? What about the trim? Thanks :-)!

I can easily add third bedroom by using some "extra" space in adjacent frontroom. Wondering minimal size appropriate for child bedroom. Also, can put fridge "nook" in kitchen that would add extra space and enlarge kitchen. Can do most of the work myself. Need to decide if these changes are worth the potential increase in value of home? Appreciate advice.

I recently moved into a house that was refinished, but they apparently forgot to finish the bathtubs. They are matte, not slick and shiny and they have some stains and rough patches. I think they're so gross I don't even want to take a bath in them! I've seen people painting bathtubs on tv shows, but Lowe's said they didn't have bathtub paint. Do I need to call plumber or someone else to have this done? I'm willing to pay someone else to do it or do it myself, just need to know what's involvwed or who I should call. Thanks!

We live in a home with all linoleum floors. I have several area rugs to cover up the spaces. One rug in particular though keeps on moving around when we walk across it or we move it. It's not a big deal but it's just one of those little things that can get on a person's nerves!

Do you have any ideas on how to keep it in place? It's a smaller rug (3'x6') in the middle of a small room, so putting furniture on it is not an option! Thank you for all your help.

I have discovered that the house I live in has a manhole in the living room - the living room is in an extension that was built at a different stage to when the house was built.

Now, do you know if this means the house is not fit for rental and should therefore have never been rented out? If so, can I sue the landlord and get my money back? I've been in the house for 4 years, but only found out recently when a neighbour renovating his house asked me if he could have access to the manhole in my living room to unblock the drain.

what do you suggest I do? I'm renting with foxtons, in clapham
