You're in durham it cant be that hard to find wood, just go into a bushlot and cut some wood, or you could just steal some from your neighbours

I'll pass on the smart answer to that question,
Drive out to the woods, chop down a tree and haul it home, or go buy a Christmas tree, they make good firewood !!
