We live in a home with all linoleum floors. I have several area rugs to cover up the spaces. One rug in particular though keeps on moving around when we walk across it or we move it. It's not a big deal but it's just one of those little things that can get on a person's nerves!

Do you have any ideas on how to keep it in place? It's a smaller rug (3'x6') in the middle of a small room, so putting furniture on it is not an option! Thank you for all your help.

DO NOT USE CARPET TAPE, it will be nearly impossible to remove from your existing floor. At most carpet stores, you will find a non-slip area rug underpad. It looks like little shreddies welded together. It provides some cushion as well as its non-slip attributes.

They have carpet two way tape that I use all the time. It is velour on one side and it holds the rug to the floor without too much tape. You can buy it at Walmart `.

you can find rug grips in the carpet-rug section at the store. In a hurry? use the gripper for opening jars under the rug.

Any home improvement store has carpet grip.. Its a non skid material that you put under the carpet. You can also use non skid drawer liners, double stick tape.
