I'm doing a small bathroom remodel and need to create a hole in some beadboard wainscotting for the feed pipe to the toilet. The circumfrance is 2 1/8 inches. My guess is I'll need to buy a circular drill bit so I can create a smooth hole as close to the size of the pipe as possible but I'm not sure what size I will need.

Hi, I want to get my house painted and I have heard that the colors which we use to paint our house interiors have their effect on our moods. Is it true. Is there any color strategy to be followed while painting our house. How about using different colors for different rooms. Can you tell me what are the colors which have good and bad effects on our moods. Where can I get more information on this topic.

We just enclosed our 2 car garage. It will be a kids playroom. 450 Square foot. We put in French door and Hardwood Floor (Laminate/pecan colored) We are putting up chair rail that will be white. I need to pick out paint by in the morning. I want to use primary colors. This is for a 2yr old boy and 6 yr old girl. I had an idea about painting the walls 2 colors. One above and one color below the chairail and painting their handprints as a border or on the bottom of the wall. Please give me a DIFFERENT IDEA beside this one. Thanks.

I want my guests to feel comfortable and relaxed. The room is currently a pale lavender with ivory crown moulding. The linens are white eyelet. I would like to do something more contemporary but only want to use bold colors as accents (such as rugs), not on the walls.

I have been sewing for many years and want to begin embroidery. I am confused about the huge difference in price among embroidery machines. I've looked at Pfaff, Viking, and Babylock. I would like to know if there's a machine that is satisfactory without paying the thousands of dollars these machines ask. I want to be able to use embroidery for all types of fabrics including denim. This will be a hobby for gift giving, not a profession. Thank you

I used a good primer on my new drywall and a good quality paint over that. The paint now completely dry is peeling off whenever it's touched. It's getting very frustrating. What am I doing wrong?

We have a bath in dire condition which we want to fit in a new bathroom we are building. Rather than a quick touch-up and re-surface job (sometimes called re-enamelling) we want to send it away to be properly done - sand blasting, firing etc. etc. but don't know of a place anywhere in Scotland where this can be done (we live 50 miles north of Edinburgh). If anyone is able to help it would be much appreciated.
