Wallpaper is just about the last thing I would expect a 'nympho' to want to take off, but....

The best cheap way is with fabric softener. Your hear right. Put it in a spray bottle, add a little water if you must, and soak the wall one are at a time. Will break down the adhesive, and leave your room smelling fresh.

There is a tool you can purchase for a couple dollars at the hardware store which, when run back and forth accross the paper scores a ton of little holes in the paper. Then you can spary it with water, steam it with a steam iron or purchase a liquid which will soften the glue and allow you to peel it away. I caution that you do this carefully. You don't want to get the walls too wet and dig out chunks of wall or you will have to make repairs. Whatever you do, make sure your wall is completely dry before moving on so mold won't grow under any paint or wallpaper you put up.

I just completed a huge wall paper removal project, it is a lot of work. First thing you should know, the cheaper the wallpaper the more difficult it is to get off. So here's hoping you have high end wallpaper hanging in there. Lepage makes a product called Poly Peel, can be picked up at any hardware store or department store like Wal-Mart. It is very concentrated and you dilute it in water. One small bottle did my whole job which consisted of 5 rooms. Fabric softener does work but ends up costing a lot more money.

Remove the outer print layer by pulling on it. This will leave the paper/glue layer.

RENT A STEAMER designed for removing wallpaper. It is going to suck, but pretty much the only way to do it with major wall damage. They do large areas 1' x 1' at a time and use a putty knife. Be careful not to gouge wall.

You can also use chemical designed to loosen glue. Link below.

Good luck. (I hate removing wallpaper)

FABRIC SOFTNER AND HOT WATER. I SWEAR IT WORKS. I JUST REMOVED WALLPAPER FROM 3 ROOMS IN MY MOTHERS HOME AND WE USED 3 CONTAINERS OF DIF AND THEN A FRIEND TOLD ME THE FABRIC SOFTNER IDEA AND IT TOTALLY WORKED. MUCH EASIER.
MAKE A MIX OF FABRIC SOFTNER AND HOT WATER AND THEN WIPE IT ALL OVER THE WALLS, LET IT SIT A BIT THEN SCRAPE IT RIGHT OFF.
GOOD LUCK!

REALLY hot tap water, a putty knife and a pot scrubbie. That's how I took off my kitchen wallpaper. Sure, it's harder to do it this way, but it was free.
