Are you talking about everyday use? If you are I can't help. If you're talking about for a party I'll tell you what I did.I took a sheet of plywood and covered it with thin quilt batting that I stapled to the back.I next went to a fabric store and purchased oil cloth (it's like plastic with a fabric backing). This is found in the upholstery section.Covered the batting and stapled this to the back of the plywood also.Next the legs. I securely attached 2 cinder blocks together and covered them with the oilcloth, Placed the legs on the floor and put the plywood on top. I also made a simple 2 paneled screen (think a large picture frame with a brace across the center made out of screen molding) I stapled fabric with an oriental theme to the screen and hung it on the wall, shoved the table up against it for stability and was done. The table was black, dishes were white with pink origami shrimp on top of black napkins. The screen had a black background with white cranes and pink accents.I hope you wanted a temporary table,or I went on and on about something that doesn't interest you.

Hi! You may want to try looking in a Pier 1 imports store. They usually have all types of tables.

I think I know what you mean, if so ,you might try Walmart. Now would be a good time as they had some with their patio set this year. they are closing them out right now. Good luck.
