The "ceiling" cracked and WATER dripped through it a short time ago. I have looked through the YELLOW PAGES, asked other people and looked through "advice columns," but to no avail. Please, please help me with this most "serious matter."

Clothes are getting dry normally but cold air is coming out of lint filter area. I can actually feel the mild gush of air when I place my hand in this area. The clothes get dry OK but are cold. The laundry room is colder than rest of the house (outside temp is 25 F). What is the problem, please help!!

What does peroxide AND / OR vinegar to in terms of cleaning tiled flooring? What about countertops?

What about bathrooms?

I have a dog that pee'd on my porcelain ceramic tiles and I want to clean - sanitize and disinefect. I also want to make the house smell good. I heard that Vinegar + Baking soda cleans floors? What about peroxide to clean the floors?

damage the tiles? I have a dod that pee'd on my tiles in a corner and I poured some Mr. Clean solution NON-DILUTED directly over the area. I plan on letting the Mr. Clean solution sit and dry for a little while, and then going over the area with a mop using water and vinegar.
Any thoughts on if any of this will damage my tiles? Will this clean and sanitize the pee from the dog?

My husband consistantly places dirty dish towels in the dishwasher to clean them.

While he is loading the dishwasher, he will place soiled dish towels on the top rack (sometimes bottom rack) to get clean. I am convinced the washing machine would be a more appropriate (you know, with a cleaning detergent for fabric like "Tide" or "Cheer"), but he maintains that this does clean the towels.

Please tell me that he is not correct. Any evidence to support you stance would be appreciated.

just checking the possiblility because i only have about 2 blouses that needs to be machine washed warm, and i figured it would be a waste to just put it in on its own load. :)

i have a bunch of very dirty and very expensive stuffed animals... a sing adn snore ernie, one of those teddy bears with the fiber optic lights, another bear that makes twilight noises... i was thinking about putting them in my dryer on the lowest setting with a couple wet towels to see if they come out any cleaner... do you think this would work or just do more harm?

My 3 1/2 year old has been sneaking into my bed every night since me and his father split, and i'm a very heavy sleeper and I have a huge bed, so I never notice it.

In the last two weeks, I have woken up in the morning and my son has wet my bed three times (my bed is way more comfortable than any toddler mattress so I think he's sleeping heavier and not waking up like he used to). I've used a bleach/water solution and then kept a fan on it all day to dry it out, but my mattress still smells like urine. Heavily.
Is there anything better than bleach that I can use to get the smell out? It's a brand new mattress, and I dont have the money to get it proffessionally cleaned or anything.
Also, do you think it's too late to correct the already existing stains?
