Clothes are getting dry normally but cold air is coming out of lint filter area. I can actually feel the mild gush of air when I place my hand in this area. The clothes get dry OK but are cold. The laundry room is colder than rest of the house (outside temp is 25 F). What is the problem, please help!!

Sounds like you have a good wind going outside and and it is blowing into your dryer vent.

Check to see if the pilot light went out. If that isn't the problem, you probably need a repairman. Good luck!

Is your dryer vent stuck open outside?
The flaps should only be open when the dryer is running.

That means your heating element went out. you can buy a new one for about $30
