Your not going to beleive this but this has happenen to me before it the clothes are white then that is easy (USE ZEP COMMERCIAL INDEUSTRAIL PURPLE CLEANER & DEGREASER) the only place you can buy is home depo It will bring out almost anything. I had a house fire and it brought the smake off the walls it's not expense but it will bring ink, lip stick, and koolaid out of clothes. As far as your dryer it won't hurt it and the next time you dry will be fine this also works on ink pens left in the pockets of your clothes. REALLY DOES WORK. Let me know how's it coming along and pass this on.

To remove crayon stains that have been melted onto clothing in the dryer, place the stained surface down on pad of paper towels, spray with WD-40, let stand a few minutes, turn fabric over and spray the other side. Apply liquid dishwashing detergent and work into the stained area, replacing towelling as it absorbs the stain. Wash in hottest water possible with laundry detergent and bleach for about 12 minutes (use heavy soiled setting if there is no minute timer on your machine) and rinse in warm water. Special Note:Heat sets stains so clean the drum of your dryer to remove any remaining wax residue by spraying a soft cloth with WD-40, and wiping the drum. Run a load of dry rags through a drying cycle to ensure that your drum is clean. :)

Purchase a product called Goo Gone apply a small amount of goo gone to the wax leave on for about five to ten minutes then just wipe away this should remove it
If it is thick wax just apply ice cube to the wax and scrape off with a dull edge of knife
Good Luck !

After taking ever thing out, turn it on to warm it up, have paper towels ready to wipe the warm crayon off the drum.Let it run for just enough to get it warm Then wipe it off.
If there is a chunk anywhere, you can probably lift it off with a finger nail or the tip of a table knife.

Wash the clothes in hot water using detergent and Lysol, or Mr. Clean. I worked well for me. My son had a box of crayons in his pocket.
The same solvent should work on the dryer if you use hot water.

try melting the rest of the wax with a hair drier. then when it's melted into a liquid state, soak it into a paper towel.
any left over remains should be able to be scrubbed out with a brillo pad and hot water.
