i bought some new sweaters, but they seem to have static in them or somethin...and..it seems to frizz of my hair just a bit..and make my hair static...is there any way i can reduce or remove teh static from the clothes?

There's a spray that you can buy at any drug store that can spray on the clothes that reduces the static.

you can also attach a metal safety pin to the edge of each garment, when they dry, [in the dryer] the static will be gone,

well I spray a little bit of FEBREZE fabric freshener in my hand then I rub the garment down thoroughly.... and tada it should be gone! if its not try rubbing some on the inside to :D

Put them in the dryer with a dryer toss.
