I have washed it in the hottest setting & dried it at the hottest setting several times, left it in the dryer purposely, even put it in the sink with boiling hot water. nothing is working!! I would really like to wear it tomorrow but it's just too big, any other ideas on shrinking?

I've had a bedroom set with mirrors on the headboard and the dresser that have this haze or film on it and it doesn't seem to come off. I should have returned it but I figured that I could get it off. Well here it is 10 years later. What can I do to fix this besides get rid of it? I've tried windex and vinegar and water!

Australian laundry products are totally not as good as british stuff but whats ur favourite combination of them and can you still smell the powder through the conditioner

my favourite is Omo with cuddly rainforest or summer fresh. the powder and cuddly smell similar so it makes it even stronger.

my friend uses radiant with fluffy lavender and it smells amazing. whats ur fav combination???

How often should i throw away my pillows and buy new ones? what about mattresses, toothbrushs, rugs (that are by the door and get wet etc), pillows used for decoration on the couch. Also, how often does everyone rearrange or buy new decorations for your family room for example. Thank you:)

Okay, i have just bought a used weight set and the owner just used a wire brush to clean the weights but it's still rusty. It's iron and it has orange rust on there. Is there any way i can get the rest of the rust off? Any off the counter products from wal-mart or etc... I've tried home lemon with baking soda but it takes to long and is not as effective. Is there also a way i can polish the weights as well? Please help and thank you in advance. I was thinking about WD-40 but doesn't that leave grease behind and make the weights slippery?

LOL I always have socks that mysteriously disappear and pretty soon I run out of matches for them! They never turn up, even months later.

Just wondered if anyone else has been visited by the sock monster. ;-)

I have 2 very young children, and a beige carpet in our living/dining area, so you can imagine my dilema! The worst stain is my fault though, an old coffee stain. I have tried different things, and finally bought a steam cleaner, but even that doesn't completely get rid of it. Help me, please....even when the living room is clean, it looks filthy.
