I agree with most of the answers use never use a rag as a washcloth. I do janitorial work & clean houses it is not a good idea. Infact when I keep some of my cleaning rags seperate when cleaning.

Why would you want to use an old oil rag for a washcloth? Don't you have an old towel from which you could cut a wash cloth? All our old towels are used for drying off cars. I have made a couple of wash cloths which I keep with the garden tools, They make good sweat cloths in the summer and handy for quick cleanups.

The oil will never completely be removed, even if you can't smell or feel it. It also becomes more flammable because of the minute amounts of oil left behind. While the rag may do no damage to your skin, it could catch fire more easily - say from a candle, laying too long next to a curling iron, etc. Best to throw it away.

Absolutely not. There will always be a little residual oil in the cloth. It is now a rag for the rest of its days.

I wouldn't especially using in the shower !

It is definitely not costly to buy a new one.

Continue using it as an oil rag if it is so difficult for you to discard it but never in the shower.

Rabbits can take right down to approximately -10F. purely stay away from having your rabbit proper in front of the vent. Rabbits are not good with a chilly draft. Rabbits somewhat tend to love the cool greater desirable anyhow. So do no longer challenge approximately your rabbit being chilly. Take the rag out. this is greater risky than good. The rabbit can swallow the threads then the threads can get caught in the intestinal tract and reason significant issues. whether you decrease the threads off your rabbit could desire to nonetheless pull some off, consume them and swallow them. you are able to no longer video reveal the rabbit 24 hours in line with day to make beneficial it would not consume them. So get rag out of the cage.

Washcloths are so inexpensive at Dollar General, so throw that nasty washcloth away. All the oil will never be gone completely.

Safe? Yes, it's not going to hurt you. Of course, it will irritate your skin and be a possible fire hazard. But I mean, whatev, you are saving a buck huh? Unless... you already did it and now you afraid that you'll become a freak. In which case, you won't.
