I need to dry clean a very light pink prom dress with a few dark marks on the hem. I have this product here at home, wondering if it works and will it really save me some bucks.

I've heard that such a product exists but have never seen it. I've been told that if it gets on the carpet that you have to get a new carpet. If anyone knows of such a product tell me about it and where I can get it.

We have used it for pizza heat-ups, toast and breakfast sandwiches- and it is in need of a good cleaning. I don't know what (cleaning solution-wise) I can use to safely clean it. Thanks for all replies and suggestions!

I have at least 20 single socks. Do washing mashines eat socks? Or do they get blown away when I hang them to dry? I really can't afford to lose any more socks.

I bought a down comforter in September. With normal use, the down has shifted toward the bottom of the comforter. I have put the comforter in the dryer with a few tennis balls to no avail. Any further suggestions short of getting a new comforter or getting it professionally cleaned?

This answer is best perhaps for a woman or a well-organized man: I have an exceptionally small bedroom with a decent-sized closet. I just switched from an uncomfortable full size to a comfy single bed. I have clothes on the floor and papers and books, one small shelf, one desk and some pictures on the wall. I can't seem to figure where to start. Sometimes I straighten up, but I never seem to really clean like I used to. Any suggestions on getting organized and staying that way. PLEASE HELP! Thanks!

Why does the bottom of a swimming pool smell so bad? If you're ever swimming, and take a big whiff of the pool bottom, you'll be surprised at how bad it stinks!

I'm one of those that are very picky about how my laundry is done, folded and even smells ..... so when I started to smell this "fishy" odor as my family walk by, my nose went to overdrive trying to find the cause. Well, six months later, my nose is still twitching and haven't solved the issue. I'm a mother of three kids and married for 16 yrs so I thought I had this laundry thing down to a "T", but somehow odors are still slipping into my laundry! I've changed detergeants, the amount being used, fabric softners, even hanged them to dry, added odor eliminators in my wash, checked the dryer vents and changed out hoses ... and still smell, smell, smell. Someone PLEASE help me so that my nose can be at ease!

I am considering purchasing a Dyson Vacuum cleaner - is it really good? Any other brand you recommend? I have one cat and one kid if that helps.

Does your clothes actually get wet when you get them "dry cleaned"? If not, how do they get spots out of them? Do they spray chemicals on them?
