I am considering purchasing a Dyson Vacuum cleaner - is it really good? Any other brand you recommend? I have one cat and one kid if that helps.

YES!!!! I have had mine 3 years...zero problems. It is completely worth the investment. I had been through vacuum after vacuum and have never experienced anything this wonderful for cleaning! I have 2 dogs and I bought the Animal.....which is just a few different attachments. The vacuum is light and very easy to meneuver. I definitely recommend it!!! I actually got on my hands and knees and looked at the carpet in awe the first time I used it. You will not be sorry.

I have tried most of the vacuums on the market - I had 4 labradors and a Jack Russel, two children and a farmer for a husband - we are now down to 2 labs but the rest remain.
I found the cat and dog Dyson the best - there is an internal filter that is a bit difficult to find but apart from that it has been fab for four years. Mine's the purple one.
I would recommend it highly.

We love our Dyson! When we first brought it home we vacuumed our entire house and couldn't believe how much it picked up on supposedly clean floors -- and we were vacuuming at least every other day before this. The sucking power is unbelievable. Relatives in Europe have been using Dysons for years and would never buy anything else. I like the way that I can detach part of it to do stairs and have even vacuumed walls to get at dust bunnies. After comparing prices and options we ended up buying ours at Costco.
Get one -- you won't be disappointed!

My brother has one and I borrow it to clean my van out and I love it. It is the best!! I would definitely buy a Dyson if I ever bought another on. I have a cheaper one that I use in the house but he is by far the best I have ever used.

Dyson is really the best! Ease of use and easy to empty! I have 2 cats and would be lost without it.

dont buy a dyson they are not any good in my opinion . I like the dirt devil brands to me they are good . i usually go to best buy or an equvilent store to test brands . good luck and I hope I helped.
