after my husband works out, his clothes smell really bad. the odor smells somewhat like alchohol ( the rubbing kind ) we have no clue what causes this, i guess it has something to do with his body. but we wash the clothes he works out in daily and he always showers daily, so what is the problem ?? it smells as if he hasnt washed the clothes in weeks ! what is the best temp to get rid of these odors ????????

Bleach doesn't work. I am losing a large number of garments because in a short time they get yellow under the arms. I use shields for garments with sleeves, but can find no solution for removing the stains from sleeveless tops. I do use anti-perspirent which helps a limited amount but not always. Thanks for any help you can suggest.

The bed is a sleigh bed and the swirls in the ends have been carved into the finish. The dust settled into those areas, as well as the grain of the furniture. I'm guessing that I will need to use a toothbrush and some form of cleaning paste. But, I have no idea what I should try. I would be really upset if I hurt my furniture...

I just finished my weekend house cleaning chores, ok I didn’t finnish, but they’re never finished.
I feel compelled to stop and say one thing, I’m strait, meaning I like girls, I like girls allot!
But I have two questions.
1) Is the Swiffer the single most important invention since sliced bread or what?
2) does anyone other than me use both sides of the Swiffer pads, I’m a notorious cheapskate so I do, does anyone else?

Both white leather & different color shoes. With the white, is it okay to put them in the washer with bleach? With the others wash like you would your clothes? I have a bleach pen but it doesn't do the job in some spots.

My daughter just spilled some Sunny D onto the carpet and it is not coming out. Any suggestions. I tried Oxy Clean, Resolve Carpet cleaner, and that other Duel Action one. NOTHING helped. Any home remedies..........Please help! This isn't the first time this happened. And still a light orange stain on my carpet. I would have thought that this would have came out easily considering that it is orange juice.

1. When you're putting in a new roll, do you put the roll in so that
a) the paper rolls over the top? Why?
b) the paper rolls from the bottom? Why?
c) I don't care or pay attention?

2. Also, when you're at someone else's house... have you taken the toilet paper out of the holder and put it the way you like it? (I have) :-)

I've heard about the Dyson but it's really too expensive. I'd probably want one between $100-300.

Or...where's a good Canadian website that compares vacuum cleaners.

My washing machine is developing a smell. I've never had this problem before and am stumped. It just smells like sitting water... mildew or algae or something. I've tried leaving it open between loads hoping it would dry out, no luck. What do you do?
