Spiders use their secret magic spells to form them. They consist of fairy dust and puppy dog tails.... are you serious? It's an old spider web.

a cobweb is from a spider or spiders.the spider produces it from inside and pushes it out it's body to form a cobweb or cobwebs.it's use to lay there eggs to the webs and trap thier pray in the cobwebs!god bless.

Actually, a cobweb is a web the spider has abandoned. If you see a spider in it, you would call it a spider web. Spiders will leave their webs when they start collecting dust.

I get them quite often in spite of using a long handled duster. Just like any spider makes a web outdoors, same thing indoors.

The spiders that create these can be very tiny. Mine look like a tiny daddy long leg variety.

I think I have an entire nursery of them in my house right now. Just keep dusting once a week. The little fellows will die off anyway. Nothing for them to eat in winter.
