Cleaning & Laundry - January 2007

Alright, so let’s just say it was a lonely Friday night. Embarrassingly,
I unfortunately got semen onto my chair. My chair is sort of a… fabricy cushion chair. Now, freaking out, I run and try to wash it by getting paper towels and normal soap. Then I tried using laundry detergent and now it’s sitting off in the corner, letting it dry.

Now… would the semen have sunk really low into the chair, making it the most disgusting chair ever..? Or did I do a clean enough job cleaning it that I wouldn’t cringe every time someone used it?

I feel like an idiot. Any comments as to if I can clean it anymore would be great.

This isn't cigarette smoke, its fire smoke. It wasn't damaged from the actual fire, but the smoke smell is atrocious. Anyone know of a way to get it out? Right now, being winter and living in Upstate New York with all the snow we get I can't put it outside so if anyone knows of a way without putting it outside it would be appreciated. Thanks

There's a plate in my fridge filled with some viscous goo and anything i put into it dissolves in a few minutes! it doesn't really have a smell and i don't want to touch it more than i have to and it seems to be moving around at night because it is never in the same place in the morning. i hope it grows more because this thing strips paint, removes grease and stuck on stains like they were nothing! i could make a lot of money selling this at my local mom & pop store! this stuff is simply astonishing! but should i be worried? i yelled and taunted it once and it started popping and hissing, and more grew from out of nowhere and it was going at a decent rate too... do you think i need to find some scientists?

My daughter had a sausage egg biscuit for breakfast and I noticed a stain on her shirt as she was leaving for Pre-school. I grabbed our new Tide pen and used that on it but it was definitely still there when she came home. It has not been laundered. Is there anything I can do to save this new sweet shirt!! Thank you in advance!!

My workplace has a bunch of plastic display holders, and over time they yellow and smell like drunk-frat-boy-vomit!

Anybody know why? How can I de-fumigate these rancid things?
