Try nail polish remover? I don't know if this would harm the carpet though. Maybe try just a little on a q-tip and see if that gets it out.

how about doing your nails in the bathroom or kitchen table with a paper towel under the bottles.? that should solve any future mishpas you seem to have with spilling the bottles.
