My daughter had a sausage egg biscuit for breakfast and I noticed a stain on her shirt as she was leaving for Pre-school. I grabbed our new Tide pen and used that on it but it was definitely still there when she came home. It has not been laundered. Is there anything I can do to save this new sweet shirt!! Thank you in advance!!

I use Dawn dishsoap. Cover the entire stain and let sit until its laundry day. May need to be done more than once. Whatever you do, do NOT put it in the dryer until you are sure the stain is gone. If you do this, it will set the stain and you'll never get it out. Good luck

Try spraying hairspray on it, I have been told this works if you do it before it is laundered.. Don't put the shirt in the dryer until the stain is gone(let it air dry) Wash it in COLD water, heat will set a stain!! Also my grandmother gets everything out, stains that have been there for a few weeks by putting dishwashing detergent on the stain and rubbing it together.. (Like you would if you get deodorant on your shirt) Good Luck
P.S. If all else fails, take it back to where you purchased it and tell them you just noticed the stain! :0)

Make a paste of Dawn and Baking Soda. Apply it to the stain about 10-20 minutes before you wash it as usual. Let it air dry to make sure the stain is out, because a heated drying will set the stain.

Dawn dishliquid works well. Don't throw it in the dryer until you're sure the stain is gone. Tide stick doesn't do well on grease. It's better on things like wine and catsup. Shout wipes work better.

I know it works for fresh stains but not sure about older ones. Try putting a bottle of coca-cola in the wash with the shirt. I know it sounds wierd but it does work with fresh grease stains and with stains in the toilet ?? kinda makes you wonder ???
