I just finished my weekend house cleaning chores, ok I didn’t finnish, but they’re never finished.
I feel compelled to stop and say one thing, I’m strait, meaning I like girls, I like girls allot!
But I have two questions.
1) Is the Swiffer the single most important invention since sliced bread or what?
2) does anyone other than me use both sides of the Swiffer pads, I’m a notorious cheapskate so I do, does anyone else?

1) Yes, the Swiffer is the single most important invention since sliced bread (I don't use the Swiffer, but I use the Clorox version of it).
2) I've never thought of using both sides of a pad, but I'm cheap, so thanks for bringing that up! I will be doing that from now on!

Happy Cleaning!

(And don't worry about never finishing your chores. Mine are never done either!)

I think the CONCEPT of the Swiffer is great. The most important invention since sliced bread.. no way. Think dishwasher, garbage disposal, vacuum...

Anyway, I use Pledge Grab-Its. Same concept, but they don't leave residue.

And of course you need to use both sides! It only makes sense.
The worst part about Swiffers and Grab-Its is that after you look at what you just picked up on those pads... you are totally mortified at the filth you have been living with all week.

Yes it is a great invention. I also use both sides. I also only put the swiffer pads in two of the holes at the ends so that a lot of the cloth is extended over the end and use it to clean under my fish aquarium. It seems to grab all the dust bunnies, dog and cat hair that has snuck under there. I also wash mine in a gentle cycle and air dry them unless they are completely too bad. Glad to see I am not the only one who never finishes their house cleaning chores..

Hmm, interesting. I am not sure if you mean the wet ones for the floor, or the dry ones for dust. Nevever thought of using both sides. Thanks.

PS If for the floor - swiffer okay for everyday, but I still get down and do the floors hands and knees at least once a month to get into the little nook and crannies.

The SWIFFER rules, and both sides is a must, but does being GAY make the SWIFFER,and pads unusable?? Did not understand that part of the question.

Oh I'm a guy too and I clean all the time but it's because I have OCD (I think) and I'm straight too, but yeah Swiffer is the best cleaning thing ever! I switch the pads too, I flip it inside out and and countiue cleaning. The pads are expensive!

I bought some micro fiber cloths and use those now. Yes, I always used both sides. I used to save the dryer sheets and use them. With the microfiber cloths you can just throw them in the wash and use again and again. I swiff the walls too.

I don't care that much for Swifter. It picks up a lot, but smears alot around also. When I did use it, I too used both sides. Seemed foolish not too, right?

Yes they are THE best thing to beat the dust bunnies from escaping. I ALWAYS use both side & the actual sides too. Dust is bad.
