Any ideas would be welcome. It's a rented flat, and as we can't match the colour we would have to re-paint the entire lounge.

My towels always dry hard when I let them dry outside in the fresh air, even doe I use fabric conditioner. Does any one know if there is anything I can do to keep them soft when drying them outside.

I asked yesterday what causes rust stains on a white shower tray and how do you remove it. I was told use CLR but I've never heard of it. I presume this is from USA. Is there a UK equivalent?

I don't expect anyone to know exactly and I know they will all vary but mine is C energy rated (I am in the UK by the way) and wondered if anyone knew roughly what it cost to run per hour! The electric meter box is full of spiders so I'm not looking in there to work it out! Thanks!

A pen got into the dryer & leaked on everything, about 15 clothing items. I've tried hairspray, laundry soap paste & Simple Green. None of them worked. Any other ideas?

I've tried oxiclean and a steamcleaner but i can't get these stains out. the stains are a little of everything from nail polish to fruit punch to candy...my 2 year old seems to leave a path of destruction wherever she goes. I was getting ready and miraculously, my mascara brush flew out of my hand, hit my shirt, and bounced over to the rug in my bathroom.. I got it out of my shirt with just cold water, but i had to leave the rug until i got home, then i tried cold water, and laundry detergent, most of it is gone, but you can still see it somewhat, not a huge deal, but if i could get it out that would be great! Any suggestions!?

We are apparently having the worst ever flea infestation in Georgia. Ours seem to have come from the pine straw the condo landscapers put out all over the property. We've tried bombs and spray treatments, but nothing's working. Everytime we think they are finally gone more of the little rascals hatch.
Please help!

the white out is actually a 13 year old stain on finished wood and it does not come off by any regular houselhold cleaners. NO 409.
